Attractions

Bananal Island
Bananal Island, considered the largest fluvial island in the world, is host to natural environments of great interest. The island is divided up between a national park and an Indian reservation.
Sport fishing in the Araguaia River attracts many visitors; and several tourist agencies provide packages, with lodging, boats, etc. However, in general such forms of tourism are practiced with respect neither for the environment nor for the law.
